Preliminary performances of the play began at the Palace Theater in London, on June 7, 2016, and premiered on July 30 of the same year. The play premiered inside the musical amphitheater at Broadway Theater in Manhattan, New York, USA, on April 22, 2018, and preliminaries for the play began on March 16 of the same year.
